Hi there, I'm new to the forums! I haven't seen this movie mentioned yet. August Rush. has anyone seen it? It blew me away, everything about it. The storyline and especially the music! It is my favorite movie so far. I even own the soundtrack and I rarely buy soundstracks!

I bought it too. I love this movie! If you're a music lover, it just kind of speaks to you.

Hey, Christine!! How are ya?!

Definitely want to see this. I'm hoping it'll show up on PPV again. Or maybe I could borrow karlie's.

Great music and a fascinating story. Robin Williams was at the top of his game...so was Keri Russell.

I thought it was a pretty good movie. The wife and I were both a little disappointed with the end though.

I loved this movie - looking forward to buying it for ME for Christmas!
I also wish it would have ended differently, but it was still sweet.

He is! I have loved him in every role I've seen him in.

The one part I didn't like was the ending song, with the little girl wailing singing through it. I wanted her to shut up and let me enjoy the music and the moment! She's a great little singer, but it was definitely out of place in that situation and total overkill.

How did you all wish it would've ended?

Aw! I liked her little part! The music was very contemporary so I thought it fit. But that's just me.

I loved the movie!

I thought it was okay, and the music was great, but the ending did fall a bit flat....not exactly what we had spent 2 hours leading up to.

What does this mean, this "be nice"? Familiar with this phrase I am not.

I thought the last two minutes, where the aliens attacked and vaporized New York City, really had no place in a musical drama.

Wups, sorry Uncabeeil, didn't mean to spoil it for you!

I didnt care for the ending that much, but it is a good movie to show kids,, there was only one offensive word that i heard and then the scene on the rooftop was ok since it didnt show anything bewtween the 2 of them.. I love how August played guitar, the thumping and all! I have 2 guitarists in my family and after that all they could do was play like August! Hey can you guys see my avatar? I cant see it and i cant seem to get it uplaoded right..
