"time and place" is the topic, i think...
Folks are advising The Prophets on when it is the right "time and place" for us to express gratitude to the keepers of the gate...meaning that 5 minutes in the midst of 3 hours of Gospel singing might not be the "right time and place"...I know I am struggling with this one.
Qtman may have something there. Should we let gratitude delay the tip-off or the first pitch or the kick off? Would God have a problem with us taking 5 minutes of a concert promoting love, respect and gratitude to those who are serving us all. Those who are sacrificing so that we can spend our time singing, "buffet-ing", commenting, critiquing, shopping, "opinion-izing"...in short: Being FREE.
Whoa...THIS is a difficult question! Mmmmm...

If I do not want Patriotic in gospel concerts, I should cancel my plans at SDC for the Southern Gospel Picnic because I can guarantee you there WILL be Patriotic music. Can't wait. I love it.

Sam...read your musing about the eternal destiny of infants.
Wholeheartedly agree that Babies that die go to heaven.
Your argument and reasoning was unique and interesting.
My conclusion would be based more on the traditional argument
of the issue of "the age of accountability"...but your thesis was and is
most interesting.
Glad we have TPQ fans and friends that contemplate so lofty of subjects.

Paul I agree with that also. But, I avoided that approach intentionally. Someone would want to know what that age was and there is no certain age. It varries per child and people tend to not understand that.

We visited familly and friends in Asheville for a great mini vacation, attended church at New Morgan Hill Baptist church, great preaching and singing!
