I would like TK and Rachel to win. If they don't I won't be too upset. I like the other teams as well.

So glad Nathan & Jen are gone - woohoo! I'm cheering for TK & Rachel, then Nick & Grandpa, then Christine and Dad. Though it won't be devastating if any of them win (like it would've been if Nate & Jen had won!)

Waah!! After I don't know how many times of taping this show, I accidentally taped the wrong channel!!! I read the recap on the CBS web site and was glad to hear that Nate and Jen were eliminated. It sounded like they pretty much broke up...which I figured was inevitable. They don't communicate well, don't handle stress well at all, and attack each other without seeing their own faults. I hate it when teams "play dirty," like Christina telling the ticket agent to tell other teams the flight is full. Not sharing information, not telling where you found a clue, that's one thing, but outright lying goes over the line. I wouldn't think an airline employee would be allowed to do that. It's neat that Don is the oldest person to make it to the final three! I'm rooting for TK and Rachel. I'm so glad they caught up and stayed in it.

Its quite hard to decide who will win in this season because the top 3 teams now are very competitive eventhough they are fathers they still can run like young men.

That's true. This is the first time though, that a father/daughter team made it into the top three and a grandson/grandpa team as well. This season of TAR was an eye-opener! I think most people (myself included) didn't expect those two teams to last long - much less make it into the top three.

I'm glad they won! They were the one team who treated everyone fairly. He never said one bad thing that I can remember about her, and they were just so level-headed through the whole thing. I am very happy they won.

What a great finale! I thought the race to the finish would be right after the roadblock. That was a hard task!

Yay TK & Rachel, and yay for an entire leg in Alaska (my favorite place in the world). I felt a little bad for Ron & Christina, when they lost the lead they had gained, but how incredible for TK & Rachel, who spent an entire leg of the race completely dead in the water, to come back and win. Nick and Don ... well, as soon as they forgot to pick up the bag of gear, you just knew they were done.

Hurray for TK and Rachel!! I've been rooting for them for weeks, but Chris and her father had me pulling for them a time or two. I liked that they ended the race in accord with each other and having learned and grown. I do like that TK and Rachel treated each other and everyone else with dignity. You could see TK getting a little more stressed than we'd ever seen him, though, but that's to be expected at that point! I hope Don doesn't blame Nick for forgetting to get the gear -- he seemed to in the car, and making sure you read the clues correctly is paramount. But I hope he doesn't hold it against him. I'm glad the finale was a fair competition and no one fell behind because of getting lost or something. I was sure the older guys would have trouble on that glacier and was surprised that they did so well and the younger teammates had trouble.

And it turned out not to be forgetting the gear that lost it for Don & Nick. It was that reliving the race challenge. That was hard! But everyone had caught up, it was simply a matter of who would solve it first. I thought for sure Christina would. The hard part is, when you're wrong, you don't know how many are wrong! She ended up changing too many. But Don was quick to admit he'd never be able to do that one. All the guys watching were pretty upbeat while waiting actually.

I don't think Nick & Don would've given TK & Rachel a run for their money - Nick couldn't figure out that last challenge. Really, all 3 teams were caught up at the end - at one point they all said done and were all wrong. So, at that point they were dead even. It all came down to whoever figured out that task first.

Yeah, forgetting the gear didn't really seem to set them back that much -- that place must have been really close by, because they were back fairly quickly. It didn't show Nick actually finishing the challenge at the end, and I wonder at that point, when someone has already come in first, if they call the crew with them and tell them to come on in. I taped the Early Show and got to watch TK and Rachel receive their check from Phil. Evidently T.K.'s first name is Thomas. He had a hat on, and I got to thinking -- I don't think we ever saw him the whole race without that bandanna, did we? The host said they were "newly dating" during the race and asked about their relationship, and TK said, "I can't see a future without her." (Awwww!) They seem like a sweet couple.

Anchorage is a small city ... those 2 locations are probably only about a mile away from each other, though the one-way street pattern in downtown might've added a few extra minutes to the drive.

WooHoo! I'm so glad TK and Rachel won, though any of the three would have been fine with me. The Roadblock was tough. Making sure you met all those criteria and not being able to write anything down would be tough anyway, but when you're tired ... The detour didn't take any group very long at all. It was surprising how fast they all seemed to finish. This was one of the better TARs. I liked the U-turn and the Speed Bump. They added some interesting twists, and I liked them better than the Yield and "take away everything" twists from previous TARs.
