Natalie Merchant especially when she was in 10,000 Maniacs. I used to have a ROIO that had outtakes of just her and the piano and it was incredible. I wish she'd do some of the old stuff that way on a legit album.
I used to really like Steve Camp and he played piano to.

I really enjoy the instrumental music of Floyd Cramer. Gosh, I wish I could play the piano like him! One christian composer I enjoy is Ken Medema. Many listed above I enjoy too. k

The ones that came to my mind are Michael W Smith, Elton John, Billy Joel, Barry Manilow, Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder.....all favorites of mine.

Here's an answer you might not get often... try checking out a band called Nitengale. Their piano player is ridiculous, and they're a really awesome band.

Hey,
Shaun Barrowes is the artist who plays piano really well.
He is excellent jazz piano player and song writer. His galvanic music is heavenly a great relaxation to the wretched soul.
