Oh, I forgot. Tonight I am working at a wedding reception and dinner will be whatever I grab while during a down time. As for the family, they actually just ate lunch (2:00) so it is going to be up to DH to get them fed before they go to bed.

I grilled lots of steaks and burgers last night so we're having leftovers tonight. Actually, we had them for lunch too.

The girls have youth group tonight at the park so I think they will eat there. At the least they will have lots of snack food. If they haven't eaten I will pick something up on the way home for them> Ds and I will eat frozen pizza and pizza rolls at my mom's house since it's just a few blocks from the park.

We stopped by Braum's after church for burgers, fries and shakes. We hadn't been there in ages. Yum.

Whole wheat cheese ravioli w/marinara sauce and spinach salad.

Did you make the ravioli or buy ready made? I adore ravioli and tortelloni, but can't find whole wheat!! If you bought it, what brand was it and was it frozen, refridgerated, or dried?

Not to butt in, but we've had the refrigerated Buitoni whole wheat four-cheese ravioli, and it was delicious! They also make a ww tortellini.

Tonight was DH's birthday, so I made chicken-fried steak, mashed potatoes, cream gravy and corn on the cob.

You can butt in all you want... I'll take any ideas on healthier ravioli from whoever wants to give them.

Oh, yeah... we ate dinner, too: chicken, broccoli, carrot, red ancient sweet pepper, and onion stirfry with edamame on the side.

Zippy, it's a frozen one I found at the health food store, brand name Rosetto. The green one down near the bottom of the page in the middle. I want you to know that I dug through the trash can for you. And it was kinda slimy. LOL

Tonight was stir fry with basmati rice. I had never had basmati rice before... it's yummy!

We had chops and veges.

And then I cooked some beef stroganoff for lunch tomorrow because I'd actually planned on steak and veges but the second steak I pulled out of the freezer turned out to be the bag of chops once I had defrosted everything in the microwave.

Now that's showing the love of Christ!! Was your rice brown? I use brown basmati and love it!!

We're having lemon pepper crockpot chicken with new potatoes and carrots.

Sweet/Sour meatballs, roasted potatoes, broccoli/cauliflower.

eta: I forgot that last night hubby was naming all the ways he likes potatoes, and he hinted strongly at scalloped potatoes, so I'm trying a cheddar scalloped potato recipe in the crock pot instead of the roasted potatoes. . . we'll see how it goes.

It was white basmati. A rare thing for us, white rice. I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for brown basmati though, that sounds really yummy. I love brown rice.

Tonight I'm making breakfast tacos on whole wheat tortillas.
