Can Mods changes images? If so would you change mine. The one I have now is not working out to well.

So you want a makeover?

I can't believe I missed the mojito party! I was at job services.

BTW, Ruby Tuesday's has the best mojitos.

What is a mohito

Is it anything like a mojo?

That sounds interesting. What is it about?

Does a mojito help your mojo?

Blue can tell you better but my understanding is that there's time-travel and Celts. That's all I needed to know to be interested.

They're by Stephen Lawhead. I had read his Hood so I knew they would be at least reasonably good.

The song of Albion Series is about Time travel, parallel universe, Celts, Snobby Brits, and a lot of other nerdy stuff.

Oooo, snotty Brits! My favorite!

Good morning, everyone. It's raining here which it hasn't done all of August I think. Seems like back-to-school weather.

I am stove up from my klutz antics yesterday.

MC got blooded for the first time in football practice last night (his pinky got mashed or tore up or something....he's gonna live ).

Question for the men.....

When MC asks me if something is going to leave a scar, does he want me to say yes or no?

Hmmm... That's a toughy. If his favorite tools are WD-40 and duct tape, the answer is YES. If his favorite sport is chess, it's probably NO.

That's what just occurred to me this morning. I've been giving him the wrong answer.

Mornin'!

I don't know if I'm equipped to do it but I think it's possible and I'm going to try for it......raising a boy who loves chess as much as his duct tape.

My son has saved his "special jeans" - the one's with the big hole where the bike handle went into his leg - just so he could show off his scar.

As long as they're not on the face, scars are good.

Little scars, not so good. Huge scars, obviously bad. It's gotta be medium-ish.

Bad enough to be noticeable, but not so bad as to be disfiguring.

There's obviously more to this than I originally detected...

Of course, I've been answering GC's panicked "Will this leave a scar?!?!?!?" with assurances that it wouldn't and would be better before she was married. I'd started noticing a sort of disappointed reaction from MC when telling him the same thing.

Boys is differ'nt than girls.
