ROFLOL!!!

Well, alrighty then, Gma; I'll just keep my mouth shut.

There's a 6am swim class most mornings at the pool. 6am!!!

I'm kind of tempted to go just to see what kind of nut jobs attend that class
(but then, what if someone else is there doing the same thing . . . they would think that I'm a nut job . . . and they would be so woefully incorrect).

Thank you, I like you too!

Poor DivaB must still be working. Wonder if she'll feel like the "E" word when she gets home, lol. However, hopefully she will feel like doing whatever therapy exercise she needs too.

Here I am. Got home about 9.

Sharon-Marie---I only get weighed when I go to the doctor--about once a year. I have weighed the same for over 10 years. But I have gotten almost 1/2 inch shorter!

Not sure I could be awake enough at 6 to go to a swim class or any class for that matter. But it would be interesting to see who's there.

Dental appt--not so good. Have to see a surgeon. Seems I have a broken tooth, the root is cracked. So a surgeon has to extract and excavate I seem to be falling apart--one part at a time.

Actually I am ridiculously healthy--but my parts are needing maintenance.

And Gma--I did some passive exercises throughout the day. They count but I do need to do some weight stuff. Tomorrow tomorrow I love you tomorrow... This being disciplined stuff is hard

Hey Terri--good to see you. Are you liken your job? From FB sounds like there is a lot involved. I did not realize how much prep goes into play.

The pictures from Gypsy were great. And I thought you looked cute in the "eeewww" picture.

Gotta go tomorrow is another marathon day. Have a meeting at church at 8:30 then work til 7. See y'all later. Thanks for visiting.

Oh man, DivaB!

When's the dental surgery, or has it not been scheduled yet?

I hope you've had good day today.

Sharon-Marie----Surgery not scheduled yet--have to go for a consultation first. Lots of stuff happening in May so I hope to schedule it in June. But then I hope I have another job in June and would not want to take time off right away. Although I have a pretty good constitution and expect I would just take the day of the surgery off.

I will think on it later--no sense bothering about it now.

You look so pretty in your picture--very photogenic you are.

Aww thank you! (Yoda - heehee)

DivaB, if you feel comfortable keeping us updated, please lets us know when the surgery gets scheduled (I'd like to mark it on my calendar as a prayer focus).

How's your arm / shoulder doing?

Another job? Oh cool!

Sharon-Marie---Thanks for asking about the surgery--I don't think it will be a big deal--but I will let all prayer warriors know the timing when I know.

My arm and shoulder are OK. Finished therapy but do not have full range of motion and still some discomfort. See the MD on Thur and we will talk about surgery and whether that is a viable option.

New job is cool? --maybe. We will see. Looking for work is not my idea of a good time. Hopefully, I will find something quickly.

And congrats on your victory over fear of the dark! What a blessing to have that burden lifted from your heart. God is Good!

Hey Mike--Glad you came by. I have been AWOL for awhile. It is crazy busy at work--not with customers but with the big move to another location. And we have been busy at church with a Leadership thing I am in.

All in all busy but that is good.

Has spring sprung in your part of the world? It has been beautiful here--well today we had a couple of bad rain storms but they were of short duration.

Hope the stuff at your workplace gets resolved quickly and with little trouble and anger. I will pray for peace.

Hey y'all

Mike had a birthday--Happy day Mike--and that got me to thinking...

How do you feel about aging/getting older? Does it trouble you or make you feel down? Or does it not bother you or are you happy about where you are at this stage of your life?

Do you feel older than your years or younger?

As for me I don't mind getting older--I think I am a better person now than when I was young.

But I do NOT like some of the physical stuff. Not so much the wrinkles and sags and stuff. But not having the same energy and stamina that I once had bugs me. And the fact that recovery time for everything takes longer.

For the most part I feel younger than my years and I certainly do like and enjoy my life more now.

Also, I have more friends who are younger than me--(some by 30 or 40 years!) than those who are older than me. People older than me tend to die Sad but true.

Hiya Diva, I am too tired to ponder those questions right now. Somehow I am reminded of Jim Croce's time in a bottle.

Hi Diva- I usually feel younger than my years, and I usually don't mind my age... however tonight I am feeling really, really old! And I'm not liking it!

I've been working at getting that swimming pool up and filled with water. I have shoveled, hauled, tamped, started filling it... drained, shoveled, raked, leveled and started filling it... only to see it almost filled then looked out my window and saw streams of water running down the street. DS2 didn't read all the directions on the pump thing - or listen to me when I told him that 'yes, he did' have to put the plug things in before hooking up the pump. Sigh. So I'm hoping it didn't wash away too much sand, and that it will be filled up soon, now that the plug thingys are in. I'm so sore and tired I am afraid I am not at my best right now. . So, I'm feeling very old, very tired, very much wish I had the energy and stamina of younger years...and even feeling a little sorry for myself. I hate it when I feel sorry for myslef!! And I think I'll skip looking in the mirror for the moment - I'm sure all the sags and bags and wrinkles would be too much to handle at the moment.

I better go to bed and hope I can get some "beauty sleep", I'm really needing it right now.

I am not as bothered about getting old as I have been in previous years, but it still bothers me a little bit though.

Not sure, in some ways older, but in other ways younger. Physically I feel older than I should be. Mentally, younger.

I've got an idea for you to make those Bday's easier Humble... I'm borrowing it from my now 5 yr old grandson. He told me just before his Bday that he was going to be 5, so I could buy him 5 presents! I figure this December I'm gonna love turning 56... !

However, since I'm not loving my 55 year old body right now, I think I'm heading for bed!!! Good Night - have a great week everyone.

I am all for the gifts equal age thing--I would get more than anybody cause I am OLD.

Gma--doesn't it just get you when nobody listens cause they think you don't know what you are talking about then they make a mess. Of course in my case sometimes--not too often--rarely--I don't know what I am talking about. but I am pretty good at keeping that to myself.

Tonight I am pooped. We are moving the store that I work at. Well not the store but all the stuff in it. And a furniture--home accessories store has a lot of stuff.

And there is a lot of drama. Everybody wants to do it their way and no one seems to agree with anyone else. Then there have been a couple of temper flares. Those have been kinda amusing

As for me I just stay out of the way and do MY thing. I will be most happy when my desk and files and computer are moved and I can retreat to my little corner of the world. May be a while--something to look forward to

This chickadee is off to dreamland.

Be well y'all

Drama... I usually don't do well with "drama". Unless, of course, it's me providing the drama, lol. But then when I do it, it's not "drama"!

'Night DivaB... I'll be right behind ya. I'm "old" and tired too, lol. (I'm betting you'd only get one or two more presents than I would on that next Bday...)
