The picture is from the 70's. No I was never a go-go girl but I was a girl on the go-go.

ORIGINAL: ImBrandNew Oh, I see! Hmmmm, a head covering tattoos woman, interesting! Kinda like a neo-hippie or something. There are a couple of women who post here who cover and have tattoos. I have worn head coverings, but I generally only wore one when in prayer or Bible studying. I've been feeling a pull from the Holy Spirit to go back to wearing one. Mine was just a long shaw that is lacey and beige. My step-mother gave it to me.

Ooh a sleeve. That is brave. If I had gotten my first tat when I was in my twenties I would be covered by now. These days I do feel I have to be sensitive to others in my life who are offended by tattoos so I will only have ones that can be covered. Well except I am thinking that my next will be a small one on my ankle which will be hard to keep covered all the time. Still in the thinking stage about it.

Speaking about head coverings, does this mean that men should keep their hair short? Just wondering.

I think it's a decision between the person and God. There is a OST on head coverings somewhere.

Speaking about head coverings, does this mean that men should keep their hair short? Just wondering. Well, that's not for me to decide, but even if I said yes, I'd have a hard time convincing DH! He likes his hair long. quote:
Ooh a sleeve. That is brave. Umm..brave or foolish, I'm not sure which! I definitely had to work up to it. Besides, it will be done over several sessions so it's not like I have to sit there for hours at one time. quote:

In my crowd, more people will probably be offended by the headcovering than the tattoos! Almost every one I know has at least one, or is at least open to them. quote:

I've been feeling a pull from the Holy Spirit to go back to wearing one I have learned that when God tells me to do something, to just go ahead and do it. I only delayed covering this long because I needed DH's blessing on it. I highly encourage you to try it again! It doesn't have to be anything fancy, even a hat or a wig will do.

Lisa, I see you're being called back to your Jewish roots. How did you find your Jewish name etc?

Trish, I have a dear friend in Germany, Ariq, who is Messianic. He was the one that sent me the link for find your Hebrew name. Mike, big difference between being "Jewish" and honoring Christianity's Hebrew roots. If anything, that is what I am doing.

No problem Lisa, I know that Trishy (Ariellla) has been talking about this. It is something that I have been at least thinking about as well.

Hiya Lisa and Trish, how goes it? I am so happy that tomorrow is Friday! I just had a nap and now I am awake. I have a job interview tomorrow. I am amazed that the recruiter agreed that I can show up to the interview wearing casual, go figure. I really hope that it works out this time. I have been interviewing an in talks with this company for about a year now. I even did a drug test for them back in September! The hours would be later which would help with all of the day appointments that I need, without taking time off from work. If y'all think of it, pray for me. While things are going much better at the job presently, I am still a little jitterly at times and I do know that the boss will get back to his own self when the stress on him occurs again. Thank you all in advance!
