I am addicted to that stuff too.

My Champions League-Question:
Which two teams will we see in Madrid?

Semi-final draw:

Lyon v Bordeaux - Bayern v Manchester
Arsenal v Barcelona - Inter v CSKA

I think Barcelona is going to win it. Runner-up will be Bordeaux.
The other two Semi-finalists will be Bayern and CSKA.

My Europa-League-Question:
Which teams will we see in Hamburg?

Semi-final draw:

Hamburg v Liege - Fulham v Wolfsburg
Valencia v Atletico - Benfica v Liverpool

In my eyes Hamburg will win the cup.
Runner-up: Valencia
The other semi-finalists will be Fulham and Liverpool.

------------------
I would like to see Arsenal v Manchester United in the final;but I know its going to be tough to beat Barca and possibly Inter to get there.I would also like to see Fulhamerica v anyone in the Europa League Final.

Honestly I believe whoever wins the Arsenal vs Barca match will win UEFA.
Even though I am not an Arsenal fan, I can honestly say that the job Arsen Wenger has done this year with his team is nothing short of amazing.
I believe it was last year and the start of this year where the press was questioning if he was all "dryed up" as a manager. And I can honestly say that nobody (well...vince excluded) thought that Arsenal would have a shot at winning the Premiership and UEFA in the same year. I honestly thought either Everton or Aston Villa would have knocked Arsenal out of the top 4 .
I am also pulling for the wonder ful fans at Craven Cottage, go Fulham, and COME ON YOU COTTAGERS. Did anyone see that goal by Dempsey? WOW

I wouldn't say that the winner of the Arsenal vs Barca match will definitely win the CL.

In my eyes ManU is the strongest team in the CL, then Barca, then Inter,... . But my guess is that ManU will lose vs Munich. It has a lot to do with the mental condition on the matchday. Even Moscow is able to play good soccer and to beat Barca, Inter and Arsenal.

The Dempsey-Goal was awesome ;) But I think he had a lot of luck with that one. I think Fulham will beat Wolfsburg. But it will be a tough fight to win versus Dzeko, Misimovic,... .

After what John Terry did to Wayne Bridge, I dont know about that. I've heard there are some who do not want John Terry on the team. I honestly believe we will know when we watch there first game against the good ole U.S.A.
Other than England I believe Argentina could win the WC. I mean they have Messi, and Tevez, etc. Although one thign is more than certain Brazil will be in the final. Who they play is a matter of debate.

Lyon - Bordeaux 3:1
Munich - Manchester 2:1

I saw Munich - Manchester on TV and it was an awesome game. Rooney scored an early goal. I think Demichelis and van Buyten were on toilet... because they were not to see in this situation. Munich dominated the match. Then Ribery (who played amazing) scroed a lucky goal with a freekick. In the final second Olic made the 2:1.

I think this game shows a little about the future in soccer.

A lot of experts say that the english teams are overaged and have to many debts. Besides that the raise of the taxes in England will keep stars away. I read an articel that Spain is going to be number 1 in future - although they have debts so. Italy has the biggest problems. France and Germany will come closer to Spain and England. I remember that now because Ribery was awesome and he said that the PL is no option for him. He will go to Spain or stay in Munich.

What are your thoughts about the future of european soccer? Will some leagues in oversea win more importance - Brazilian Serie A, MLS, Japanse J-League, Korean...?

I was really surprised we managed to eke out a draw! Very happy though:) I was at work so I couldn't watch the game but I was following it on bbc.com and I cringed when I saw the lopsided ball possession. Still, you never know, Arsenal have gotten out of tighter jams! Hopefully we play well next week

SATURDAY APRIL 3, 2010

CHELSEA vs united

COME ON YOU LIONS...GO CHELSEA

As for Arsenal, they are beaten up. Fabregas with a broken leg....ouch.
If Chelsea and united tie and Arsenal walks away with a win...then....the last 6 weeks of the season will be some of the most exciting in Football.
However we all know that Chelsea is going to win. I mean our team is owned by a member of the Russian Mob...the fix is in...lol

That gome on Saturday is going to be epic...there is so much riding on that game for 3 teams...THIS IS WHY I LOVE FOOTBALL... NOT THROWBALL...BUT FOOTBALL...REAL FOOTBALL.

GO CREW, GO CHELSEA.

With a race this tight, there are going to be some wonderful matches coming up. I would put my money on Arsenal, however I just cant see how they are going to win the Premiership with all of there injuries. It couldn't happen at a worse time for the Arsenal faithful. But if there is one manager out there who has the brains to pull out a title it's Arsen Wenger.
United without Rooney look terrible. Chelsea controlled the match, and tryed really hard on diving in the box to score goals. (Berbatov I'm talking about you). Even though Drogba was offsides, with Rooney on the field United had an attack, without Rooney they lost there attack.
Chelsea is healthy and deep, they should be able to win the Premiership. However they still have to play Tottenham, and Liverpool.
I am more worried about Tottenham. Benitez looks like he is giving up the rest of the season. Did you see Gerrards reaction when he had Torres substituted out? Even Torres couldn't believe it.
COME ON CHELSEA!!!

I think it depends on how Manchester plays today. When they lose they will win definitely the title because they do not need to focus on PL and CL. I am not the biggest friend of Chelski and I think they will end up on 2nd place. They still fight for the FA Cup too. Yesterday Barca showed Arsenal why they will not win the PL-title. They can focus on PL but I think they are not good enough to win it.

Hey malcolmfhill welcome. I have a very good friend in London who is a QPR Supporter.\
As for yesterdays game...with all due respect to the Arsenal Supporters....MESSI WAS ... WAS.... Well is there a word or group of words that can describe his performance?
I could say his performance was AMAZING, or PHENOMENAL. But it would almost be insulting.
I have never seen a performance like that in my life. Arsenal has nothing to be ashamed of, they could have put all 11 men on Messi and he still would have scored 4 goals. WOW!!!

Our family is going to the Chicago Fire home opener this weekend. We dropped our cable company for Dish because the cable company dropped the soccer channels.

What a match.

In my eyes Munich was in the first match the better team and in the second Man U was a little better than Bayern. I think Bayern deserves the victory over Manchester.

I think this is an historical moment. Since years there is no english team in the semi-final. The last years the CL was something like the FA-Cup but now you can see the first sign of the rises of Spain, France and Germany which were predicted by many experts. I really love it that we have four nations in semi-final and none of it is England.

I think Lyon will beat Munich and lose in the final versus Barca.

It was a great match, although United can make a great argument against the "away goal" rule.
I honestly cant remember the last time an English team wasn't involved in the Champions League Semi's.
I believe Barca will win easily. Honestly who out there besides maybe Bayern could beat Barca? The most talented team out there is Barca.
Here is my prediction Barca win Champions League ....easily.
