I have always been surprisingly healthy. My weight has always been fine and I rarely get sick. But a couple of years ago I entered a new decade of life and though still really healthy I now find I have to think about staying that way. A whole new experience.

So I am glad I stumbled upon this thread.

I bought a Coke zero instead of a real coke. I thought I'd give it a shot to see if I'd like it if I froze it into a slurpee. It was horrible. But, at least I gave it a shot.

I biked this morning.

And had collard greens for dinner! (and other food, of course!)

The last 3 days I have been doing my ACV, garlic, honey, and water mix. I also started doing crunches to shave off some pounds.

I have my legs weights ready, but it has been extremely hot here, but might have an alternative for walking.

Bought more mushrooms for tonights dinner and add B6 for extra energy.

I lapsed a little bit, but will not let that fail or falter me, I will get there!

Aug 3 ~ I biked 10 miles this morning, and will bike more this evening.

CMT-Have you checked with a doc before using those while walking? I have read that using leg weights while walking is a bad idea due to excessive stress on the leg joints. If nothing else-I would check on that before starting. Good old fashioned walking at a brisk pace is a good start to an exercise program.

I agree. I caused myself a lot of unnecessary pain without much benefit with weights while walking until I read that weights need to be carried near your center of gravity, not on legs or wrists. If you want to use weights while walking, get something that can be strapped around your waist.

Sorry have been here for a bit, but no I didn't check with a dr. since I have used them in the past.
I also use them for arm toning as well

Euty I think I can strap them together to fit around my waist, lol at least I know in the past I could.

Yippee I got a bicycle two days ago, just by talking to a friend and this is the perfect time as my son starts pre-K and I can fit it in!

Thanx
